Taiwan International Higher Education Scholarship

The main concern of the Taiwan international scholarship program is to help partner developing countries in acquiring education via sustainable development. In this article, we will tell you more about this scholarship program so make sure you read till the end.

This scholarship is sponsored by ICDF/Taiwan Government. The TaiwanICDF gives higher education scholarships and also contributed to the development of undergraduate, graduate and Ph.D. programs in Union with the famous partner universities in Taiwan.

The Taiwan international higher education scholarship program helps all level of education starting from undergraduate level to Doctorate Degree level.

Scholarship value/inclusions:

Once you receive this wonderful scholarship, the TaiwanICDF ensures that you are seated a full scholarship which will include the following:
return airfare, housing, tuition and credit fees, insurance, textbook costs and a monthly allowance (NT$12,000/month for undergraduates, NT$15,000/month for masters, and NT$17,000/month for PhD).

For you to be qualified for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be a citizen of a country on the List of Countries Eligible for TaiwanICDF Scholarship and
    satisfy every single specified criteria established by his or her country and/or government of citizenship.
    Neither be a national of the Republic of China (Taiwan) nor an overseas compatriot student.
  • Satisfy the admission requirements of the partner university to which he or she has applied to study under a TaiwanICDF scholarship.
  • Be able to satisfy all requirements for a Resident Visa

Application instructions:

  • All applicant must complete their application through the online application system and then submit a signed, printed copy along with all other application documents to the ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/ Consulate General/ Representative Office stationed in your country.
  • In addition to the documents above which is an important part of their scholarship application, applicants should also submit all documents needed by the TaiwanICDF partner schools that they are applying to before the admissions deadline of that university.

This application is for yearly and the annual application period runs from 1st January to 15th March for this year 2023.
